Huntsville AL Maternity portraits | Pregnancy Photography North Alabama

Amanda and David gave us full reins on the look of their session. We were able to help choose Amanda’s styling from her dress to her accessories, color palette and props. We even crafted a headpiece made of real wine tinted fall leaves and fresh foliage. Amanda was so supportive of our styling and it was a dream shoot with some dreamy outcomes! The shoot took place in November, perhaps on the coldest day of the month, and somehow the cotton field we had our eye on was still in perfect bloom for this amazing couple.

Amanda was delighted to wear the headpiece we constructed for her, and we were equally overjoyed in return, that it fit the vision. The flawless hair and make up done by our preferred vendor The Transformation was also impeccable.

And then the sun did that thing the sun can do, that keeps us falling in love with photography over and over…

Congratulations to Amanda and David for their perfect baby boy!

Chicago Illinois Wedding Photography | Pastels & Pinwheels Inspired Wedding | Orchard Wedding Photos

Tiffany and Brendan are one of those couples who make it all worthwhile. Tiffany has has followed our career even before being engaged to the love of her life. She and Brendan drove down from Chicago for their engagement session for us to capture their love Simply Bloom style. Clients like this truly humble us, individuals who understand and appreicate our art– we could not ask for more, truly.  This pastel toned wedding took place at The Pavilion in Orchard Ridge Farms in Rockton, Illinois, a grand venue with an apple orchard. We absolutely adored all the pretty details at this wedding, but most of all we just felt floored by the love that this couple emitted. Take a peek…

Burgundy, Mustard and Lialac Fall inspired Wedding Photos | Birmingham AL Wedding Photographer | Swann Lake Stables Birmingham Alabama

Let’s start the new year with a bang! This incredible styled shoot was for Alabama Weddings Magazine and took place at the beautiful venue: Swann Lake Stables in Birmingham, AL. Each time that Alabama Weddings Magazine asks us to capture anything for them, we always know with certainty that it will be unique, on trend, and executed flawlessly. The genius behind all the styling is our friend Christopher Confero.

The color palette and the pairing of fresh flowers with fall leaves was simply stupendous. This floral coupling made the styling nestle into the natural setting seamlessly. We are so impressed with the AL Weddings team, and are over the moon with the way we were able to capture all the glory. Feast your eyes and stay tuned for more jaw dropping photos coming up! Happy 2015 Everyone!

Farewell 2014

2014 was an incredible business year for us. We shot selected weddings that were simply put la creme de la creme. After 6 years, we completely redid our logo and branding. Once again we wanted to create this new logo and branding ourselves to completely reflect our sense of aesthetic, and who we are as visual artists. We have all new wedding, engagement, portrait and boudoir galleries in our portfolio, so we encourage you to go check those out for some incredible eye candy. In 2015 we will continue to strive to work with amazing couples as we have been, staying true to our photographic style, and challenge ourselves with new visions to capture on film.

Bloom Theory on

We are completely ecstatic that today we can finally share with you something that has been in the works for months: our Bloom Theory Straps are being sold at! We are listed on Page 1  under “GIFTS”. We cannot stress enough how blessed we feel, and how sweet this feeling of being recognized feels. We are floored that one of America’s most stylish brands carries our products. It’s just the highest honor. We have had a tumultuous past couple of years with our business, employees coming and going, road blocks in making our dreams come true and high and lows through various projects, none of it has been easy. Yet, each little piece of our journey we have been doing together, and that’s what the real blessing is.

In the meantime, we want to also let you know that we are undergoing a transformation and that we consider for this blog to be under construction, that is why we’ve been a bit M.I.A. but we guarantee some of our best work yet when we will start blogging again in 2015 😀

thank you for taking the time to stop by our little home on the www and following our steps as friends and business women.
