Washington D.C. Wedding Photography | Jen & Cody

The wedding we are sharing with you today is by far one of our favorites we shot in 2010. Honestly, if Simply Bloom were to style a wedding, it would look a lot like this. You may have seen a few photos of it featured in 100LayerCake! But we have loads more stunning images that we want to share.

Jen wore an Alvina Valenta gown and I am a little biased in liking it so much, because Alvina Valenta was also my wedding gown designer 😉 Aside from a drop-dead-gorgeous gown, peach ruffly Badgley Mischka shoes, and fresh pastel flowers, Jen put together an unbelievable wedding that was thoughtful in the details. Everything about it was unique, feminine, and elegant.  From the guestbook, to the colorful LoBoheme garter, seating chart and table numbers, every part of the event had been perfectly planned and flawlessly executed. Jen is the mastermind and creator of most of these beautiful details; she went as far as designing the programs herself with photos we took at her engagement session!

Guests at this wedding were fortunate to leave with many little favors, such as: disposable cameras, heart shaped cookies, a handmade burlap dessert sack with home baked goodies, and a booklet of family recipes!

The cake topper deserves a shout out too– Atop the pristine white cake, sat a statuette of the bride and groom with their 3 adorable boston terriers! be sure to  take a look RIGHT HERE, before seeing the cake topper!

And now enough with my wordy description of the wedding, let’s get to the eye-candy!

Jen and Cody you guys had a ridiculously beautiful event! We truly look forward to being your photographers in the future as we are in love with anything you put together. Thank you for this incredible honor.

So, how much did you love this wedding from 1 to 10??? 12 right!??! 😉
